The Franklin County Department of Job and Family Services is proud to announce our new 2022 Franklin County Commissioners' Back To School Initiative. This special grant program, which is made possible by the Franklin County Board of Commissioners, offers $750 in financial assistance for TANF-eligible families with school-age children to help cover costs like backpacks, school supplies, clothes and more.
These one-time assistance payments cannot be used to pay for food, medical expenses, tax credits, child care, transportation or short-term education and training, per federal program restrictions. This is a limited-time program and will run through Aug. 12, 2022 or until funding is exhausted.
