The Franklin County Department of Job and Family Services (FCDJFS) Child Care Program provides a range of services and resources to support working families and promote the early development, health, safety, and well-being of children.
FCDJFS determines eligibility for the Publicly Funded Child Care (PFCC) Program, recommends licensure for and monitors Type B Home Child Care providers, and certifies In-Home Aides.
PFCC helps eligible families pay for child care services for children under the age of 13 and children with disabilities up to the age of 18. Applicants may be required to pay a co-payment based on gross monthly income and family size.
