ADVISORY: Franklin County’s Job and Family Services Director to Testify Before Congress
Director Joy Bivens of Franklin County Department of Job and Family Services (FCDJFS) will be in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, March 11 to testify before the Subcommittee on Worker and Family Support in the Committee on Ways and Means at a hearing titled, “Combatting Child Poverty in America.”

The Worker & Family Support Subcommittee authorizes and oversees a range of critical supports for workers, children and families. The Subcommittee oversees areas including the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program; child care; Social Services Block Grant; Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting program; foster care; child support enforcement. The hearing will stream live on the Committee Ways and Means Hearings YouTube page.
