Students shouldn't have to choose between staying on track for graduation or earning money over the summer. Thanks to a new partnership between Franklin County, City of Columbus and the Workforce Development Board of Central Ohio, they don't have to!
Summer Jobs and More, or Summer JAM,
is a new 6-week program designed to help current high school juniors and seniors get the credits you need to get back on track or graduate -- and earn cash doing it!
In addition to summer school courses that align with Ohio Department of Education graduation requirements, students will also get exclusive access to college and career coaches who can help them create a personal success plan.
Plus, they'll earn $200 a week just for participating and have the chance to earn even more by completing education and career readiness goals.
